Ingredients (12)

25.00 ml oil
700.00 g lamb — stewing,cubed
3.00 onion — sliced
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
250.00 g mushrooms — cleaned and sliced
2.00 stock cubes — beef
600.00 ml water — boiled
10.00 ml paprika
1.00 packet tomato soup powder
0.00 salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
175.00 ml yoghurt — Bulgarian
0.00 fresh coriander — finely chopped

Method:

Heat the oil in a large saucepan and brown the meat.
Remove the meat and set aside.
Fry the onions, garlic and mushrooms in the same saucepan until done.
Dissolve the stock cubes in the boiling water and add to the onion mixture along with the paprika, soup powder, salt and pepper.
Cook until the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the meat and simmer for 90 minutes.
Transfer to a serving dish and spoon the yoghurt over.
Garnish with the fresh coriander and serve with rice and salad.
