Pancvakes with cherry and almond filling

    cherry pie filling
  • 8
    hot pancakes (bought , or see Basic pancake batter recipe)
  • 150
    thick cream
  • 15
    cherry liqueur or Kirsch
  • 30
    flaked almonds, toasted


Heat the pie filling.
Place two pancakes on top of each other on a large plate.
Spread with a third of the pie filling.
Place another two pancakes on top, and spread with another third of the filling.
Repeat the proces, ending with pancakes.
Whip the cream, flavour with the liqueur or Kirsch and spread on top of the pancakes.
Sprinkle with the toasted almonds and serve.
