Pancake fillings: dried pears and aniseed filling

  • 250
    g
    dried pears, coarsely chopped and cooked in rooibos tea till soft
  • 7
    ml
    aniseed
  • 50
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 30
    ml
    butter
  • 25
    ml
    rum
 

Method

 
Drain the pears slightly and mix with the remaining ingredients. Heat until warmed through and spoon over the pancakes. Roll up and serve with cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar, if desired.
