Pan-fried red sweet peppers

    peppers
    red sweet peppers, halved and seeded
  • 100
    ml
    olive oil
  • 5
    cloves
    large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 15
    ml
    fresh thyme leaves
  • 10
    ml
    fresh origanum leaves
  • 30
    ml
    balsamic vinegar
 

Method

1. Slice the red sweet peppers into strips. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the peppers until soft (about 15 minutes). Add the garlic, thyme and origanum and stir-fry for another minute. Add the balsamic vinegar and then set aside until ready to serve.
