Pan-fried entrecôte

  • 800
    g
    entrecôte (sirloin) steaks
  • sunflower oil
  • sea salt and milled black pepper to taste
  • 15
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 15
    ml
    butter
 

Method

 
Pat steaks (cut 2,5 cm thick) dry using paper towels. Brush a heavy-based grilling pan with oil and heat until piping hot. Add steaks and fry each for about 2 minutes a side. While cooking, season with salt, pepper and mustard add a little butter. Serve immediately, with chips and baby marrows au gratin (see recipe).
