    ox tongue
  • 125
    ml
    beef stock
  • 250
    ml
    red wine
  • 250
    g
    mushrooms
  • thyme sprigs
  • rosemary sprigs
  • 500
    g
    mccain mediterranean mix roast it
 

Method

 

Pre-heat oven to 200degrees celcius. Place tongue in an oven-proof dish.
Pour beef stock and wine over, then add mushrooms,thyme and rosemary. Bake for two hours.
Place McCain Mediterranean Mix Roast it!in a roasting tin. Sprinkle with a little oil and roast for about 20minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Remove toungue from oven once tender, skin and slice. Serve with McCain Mediterranean Mix Roast it
