Oven-roasted linefish

    honey

    ml
    soy sauce

    cloves garlic, crushed
  • salt to taste

    linefish steaks or cutlets
  • 30
    ml
    sesame or sunflower oil
  • CHILLI NOODLES
  • 1
    packet Chinese noodles
  • 45
    ml
    olive oil
  • 5
    ml
    chilli paste
  • salt to taste
 

Method

 
Blend honey, soy sauce, garlic and salt. Brush fish thoroughly on both sides with mixture. Oil a baking tray lightly and heat in the oven at 180 ºC until piping hot. Add fish and roast for 7 to 10 minutes, or until cooked through but still faintly pink at the bone. CHILLI NOODLES: Cook Chinese noodles according to packet instructions. Drain thoroughly, then toss with olive oil and chilli paste. Add salt to taste. Serve immediately
