Ingredients (5)

250.00 ml maize meal — polenta
5.00 ml salt
10.00 ml butter
1.00 Litres water
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Mix all the ingredients in an oven pan and bake for 40 minutes at 180 °C. Stir well and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Bake for another 10 minutes or until done.
Serve with Italian casserole (see recipe).
