Ostrich goulash

    ml
    olive oil
  • 1
    onion, sliced
  • 2
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1
    red or green pepper, cubed
  • 500

    ostrich steak, cubed
  • 1
    packet Denny Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 1
    can Denny Whole Mushrooms, drained
  • 20
    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 8
    black olives, pitted and halved
  • cooked pasta of your choice to serve
 

Method

1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion, garlic and pepper until soft.
2. Add the meat and cook for three to five minutes. Add the pasta sauce, mushrooms, yoghurt and olives to the saucepan, and simmer for f ive minutes. Season to taste.
3. Serve spooned over hot pasta.
