Ingredients (6)

500.00 g flour — self-raising
2.00 eggs — extra-large
salt — just a pinch
190.00 ml raisins — seedless
oil — for deep-frying
cinnamon sugar

Method:

Sift the self-raising flour and salt into a mixing bowl.
Beat the eggs and add the seedless raisins.
Add to the flour, mix and add just enough water to make a stiff dough.
Drop spoonfuls of this into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
Remove with a slotted spoon, drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
