Orange liqueur crème brûlée

    packet instant milk tart mix
  • 50
    orange liqueur
  • 10
    grated orange rind
  • 8
    brown sugar


1. Make up milk tart mix according to the packet instructions, substituting the liqueur for part of the liquid. Stir in the orange rind. 2. Divide the mixture between 4 ramekins. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. 3. Preheat the oven grill. Arrange the ramekins on a baking sheet. Sprinkle 20 ml sugar on the surface of each, and place under hot grill until sugar melts and browns, rotating baking sheet for even grilling. Watch closely for burning. 4. Remove from oven and allow sugar to cool and set before serving. Serves 4
