    g
    Tennis biscuits, crushed
  • 125
    g
    butter, melted
  • FILLING
  • 10
    ml
    gelatine
  • 250
    ml
    orange juice
  • 500
    g
    smooth cottage cheese
  • 65
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 2
    large oranges
 

Method

 
Butter a 24 cm pie dish or spray with non-stick spray. Mix the biscuits and butter for the crust and press along the sides and on the base of the prepared pie dish. Chill until needed. Sprinkle the gelatine over the orange juice and soak until spongy. Heat slightly until the gelatine has melted - do not boil. Mix the cottage cheese, castor sugar and gelatine mixture. Grate the rind of the two oranges and add. Mix and turn into the prepared crust. Chill until set. Slice the oranges and arrange on top of the pie. Makes a medium-sized tart.
