Orange and currant balls

  • 200
    g
    soft, unsalted butter
  • 300
    ml
    icing sugar, sifted
  • 5
    ml
    grated orange rind
  • 50
    ml
    currants
  • 375
    ml
    full cream milk powder
 

Method

 
Beat the butter until light and creamy. Add small quantities of the icing sugar while beating continuously. Add the orange rind and currants and mix. Add the milk powder, kneading until a stiff dough is formed. Roll into small walnut-sized balls and chill until firm. Dust with icing sugar if desired. Makes about 50 balls.
