Open sandwich with mushrooms and Camembert

    slices white bread, toasted on one side
  • butter
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 250
    g
    button mushrooms, sliced
  • 15
    ml
    parsley, chopped
  • 125
    g
    Camembert (mouldy sides removed), diced
 

Method

 
Turn on the grill and butter a baking sheet. Lightly butter the untoasted side of each slice of bread with butter and place on the baking sheet, toasted side facing down. Heat a little butter in a pan and sauté the garlic and mushrooms until pale brown. Add the parsley and mix. Divide between the four slices of bread and sprinkle with the diced Camembert. Grill until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
