Onion pie with fresh herbs

    butter
  • 125
    ml
    water
  • 10
    medium onions, sliced
  • 100
    ml
    cream
  • few fresh blades garlic chives and few sprigs rosemary and parsley
  • 25
    ml
    self-raising flour
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Place the butter, water and onion in a large saucepan and boil for 10 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well and turn into a greased ovenproof dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until the gravy is done and has thickened (the gravy does not set completely). Serves 6.
