Olives marinated with lemon

    (1 sachet) each black and green olives
  • 4
    garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1
    small lemon, thinly sliced
  • 5
    sprigs fresh oregano
  • 300
    ml
    olive oil
 

Method

 
Mix the olives in a sterilised jar with the lemon slices and oregano.
Add the olive oil and seal the jar with a sterilised lid.
Leave to marinate for 1 to 2 days.
Serve with fresh crusty bread.
Makes 1 x 500 ml bottle of olives
