50.00 ml butter
250.00 ml sugar
65.00 ml milk
3.00 eggs — extra-large
10.00 ml vanilla — essence
250.00 ml flour — cake
5.00 ml Baking powder
salt — pinch
765.00 g apples — pie

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Spray a 24 cm pie dish with non-stick spray.
Cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Blend the milk, eggs and vanilla essence and add to the butter mixture, mixing well.
Sift the cake flour, baking powder and salt together and mix with the butter mixture.
Spoon into the pie dish, spreading evenly.
Arrange the pie apples on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 45 minutes or until done. The tart is done when a testing skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre.
Serve with cream.
Makes a medium-sized tart.
