Nutty oat cookies

    castor sugar

    large egg

    baking powder

    peanut butter
  • 75

    rolled oats
  • 100
    ml
    glacé cherries, quartered
  • 100
    g
    peanuts, coarsely chopped
 

Method

 
Beat together all the ingredients, except cherries and peanuts, until well blended. Stir in the cherries and peanuts. Spoon teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto greased baking trays, leaving space in between for spreading. Bake in a preheated 190 ºC oven for 15 minutes or until beginning to brown. Remove from the oven and leave on the baking trays for five minutes, then remove and cool on a wire rack.
