Pear and macadamia crumble

    orange juice
  • grated rind of 1 orange

    cake flour

    grated nutmeg

    fine cinnamon

    brown sugar

    butter, cubed
  • 125
    ml
    macadamia nuts, finely chopped

    Greek yoghurt
  • 10
    ml
    honey

Preheat the oven 180°C.

Peel and core the pears, cut them into cubes and then mix with the orange juice and rind, and spoon into six individual ramekins.

Mix the flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and sugar, and rub the butter into the dry ingredients. Add the nuts and cover the pear mixture in the ramekins with the crumble layer. Then place the ramekins on a baking tray, cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

Mix the yoghurt and honey, and serve with the warm crumbles.
