  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • salt and black pepper to taste

    cooked shell noodles
  • 250
    ml
    grated Cheddar cheese
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease an ovenproof dish. Drain the tuna and use the drained oil to sauté the onion, garlic and green pepper. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato juice and white wine and heat until the mixture comes to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes. Thicken the mixture with cornflour that has been blended with a little water. Spoon into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients, except the cheese. Mix and turn into the prepared oven dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the dish is warmed through. Serve with a salad.
