No-bake chocolate cake

  • 400
    g
    (2 packets) Marie biscuits
  • 250
    g
    (2 packets) Boudoir biscuits (sponge fingers)
  • 250
    g
    butter
  • 125
    ml
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 90
    ml
    cocoa powder
  • 45
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • 200
    g
    milk chocolate
  • 100
    g
    white chocolate
 

Method

 
Crush biscuits together into small pieces in a big bowl (great activity for kids).
Melt butter and sugar.
Beat eggs and add to butter/sugar mixture.
Add cocoa and vanilla essence.
Add this mixture to crushed biscuits and mix thoroughly.
Press mixture into a 20 cm diameter springform tin and refrigerate until cold.
Remove from springform tin.
Melt milk chocolate and pour over cake, then melt white chocolate and drizzle on top.
Refrigerate until chocolate has set.
