New-style spicy fish

    tuna or yellowtail fillets

    butter
  • 30
    ml
    olive oil
  • 1
    lemon, juice

    minced fresh coriander

    minced chilli

    minced or finely chopped garlic

    paprika

    honey

    small onion, grated

    salt and milled pepper

    small lemon, grated peel
 

Method

 
COATING: Mix all ingredients together. Wipe fish with a damp cloth. Spread 1 side of fish with half the coating. Heat butter and oil in a heavy-based pan until almost smoking. Add fish, spicy side down. Spread remaining coating mixture on uncooked side. Cook for about 5 minutes, turning fish after about 2 minutes. Add lemon juice and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, depending on thickness of fillets. Sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves and serve with lemon wedges. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 5 895 kJ (1 410 Cal). A portion: 1 475 kJ (355 Cal).
