New potato and basil salad

  • 450
    g
    baby or new potatoes
  • salt and black pepper
  • 250
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 45
    ml
    basil pesto (or more to taste)
  • fresh basil leaves to garnish
 

Method

 
1. Scrub, clean and boil potatoes until just tender. While the potatoes are cooking, mix mayonnaise with pesto. 2. Drain potatoes, and make a small cross in each one. Season potatoes with salt, pepper and pesto mayonnaise. Scatter fresh basil leaves over and serve with a braai.
