Nectarine punch

    nectarines
  • 250
    g
    fresh cherries, stems removed (optional)
  • 500
    ml
    peach juice
  • 3
    lemons, juice
  • 125
    ml
    sugar
  • 750
    ml
    semi-;sweet sparkling wine, chilled
  • 2
    Litres
    rosé wine, chilled
 

Method

 
Stone the nectarines and cut into thin slices. Wash the cherries. Mix the peach juice, lemon juice and sugar and pour over the nectarine slices. Stir carefully, cover and chill for five hours. Add the sparkling and rosé; wines just before serving.
