Napoletana sauce

    medium onion - finely chopped
  • 2
    cloves garlic - chopped
  • 2
    tins chopped whole tomatoes
  • 1
    tin tomato puree
  • 1
    Tbs
    sugar
  • 1
    cup
    red wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped oregano and thyme
  • 1
    Tbs
    red wine vinegar
 

Method

Fry onion and garlic.

Add all other ingredients and cook until thick and reduced.

Season to taste.

Cook pasta and add to sauce and mix well.
