Mustard seed and coriander-scented rice

    ml
    oil
  • 5
    ml
    black mustard seeds
  • 250
    ml
    rice
  • 750
    ml
    water
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 1
    handful fresh coriander, roughly chopped
 

Method

 
Heat oil in a pot. Add mustard seeds and when they begin to pop, add rice.
Stir to coat, add water and salt and bring to the boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer until the water has been absorbed and the rice is tender.
Stir in fresh coriander and serve.
