    ml
    prepared French or English mustard
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 125
    ml
    sour cream or sour milk (add a little lemon juice to fresh milk and thicken the sauce with a cornflo
 

Method

 
Mix the mustard, salt, pepper and lemon juice together. Gradually beat in the sour cream. Serve with basic meatballs (see recipe). This sauce is also good with tongue.
