Mussels in garlic, herb and wine sauce

    mussels, half shells, steamed
  • 6
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2
    medium onions, chopped
  • 1
    bunch parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 125
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 15
    ml
    vinegar
  • 375
    ml
    olive oil
  • 125
    ml
    dry white wine
 

Method

 
1. Blend garlic, onions, parsley, salt and pepper and half the oil together. Add lemon juice and vinegar, and mix for 1 minute. Add the rest of the oil and finally the wine. 2. Arrange the mussel halves on a plate and pour over prepared sauce.
