Ingredients (10)

1.00 onion — finely chopped
250.00 g mushrooms — sliced
oil
1.00 soup powder — mushroom
250.00 ml water
250.00 ml oats
2.00 ml marmite
1.00 potato — peeled, boiled till tender
3.00 eggs — extra-large, whisked
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste

Method:

Sauté; the onion and mushrooms in a little oil until tender. Remove from the pan and cool.
Blend the mushroom soup powder with the water. Stir well until smooth and lump-free. Add the oats and Marmite.
Mash the potato and blend with the oats mixture. Add the eggs and mushroom mixture and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture in shallow oil and fry until cooked and brown on both sides.
Serve with a salad.
