Ingredients (8)

250.00 g button mushrooms — thinly sliced
50.00 g butter
30.00 ml fresh chillies — 573
30.00 ml fresh chives
60.00 ml fresh basil
black pepper — freshly ground
450.00 g pasta — garlic and herb tagliatelle
parmesan cheese — grated

Method:

1. In a frying pan, sauté the sliced mushrooms in the butter and olive oil. As an alternative, use a drained 285 g jar of sliced mushrooms in oil and simply heat with the butter.
2. Just before serving, stir the chives, basil and black pepper into the mushroom mixture.
3. Toss the sauce into the freshly cooked tagliatelle. Serve with a mixed salad and freshly grated Parmesan cheese to sprinkle over the top.
