Preheat the oven to 90 °C and lightly oil 2 large baking sheets. Beat 100 g of the margarine and the Marmite together until light and creamy and set aside.
Beat the remaining margarine and white onion soup powder together until light and creamy and set aside.
Spread each slice of bread first with the Marmite mixture, then with the onion soup mixture.
Sprinkle with a little flavour enhancer and cut each slice into five fingers. Place into the oven for two hours to dry out. Cool and serve as a snack with drinks.
Makes about 80 nibbles.
