DOUGH
200.00 ml milk
50.00 ml butter
3.00 ml salt
5.00 g Superbake Instant Yeast
500.00 ml flour — white bread
FILLING
100.00 g ham
1.00 eggs — whisked

Method:

Preheat the oven to 220 ºC (425 ºF). Line a large baking sheet with baking paper.
Heat the milk and butter until the butter has melted. Cool until lukewarm.
Mix the salt, instant yeast and bread flour together. Add the milk mixture, mix and knead for 10 to 15 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Cover lightly with greased plastic wrap and leave for 30 minutes to rise.
Punch down and divide the dough into two pieces. Roll each piece into a fairly large circle and cut into six uniform wedges.
Cut the ham slices into triangles and place a triangle on top of each wedge of dough.
Roll up the wedges, starting at the wide end, and arrange on the prepared baking sheet. Cover lightly and leave for about 15 minutes to rise.
Brush lightly with the whisked egg and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and done.
