Ingredients (8)

500.00 ml flour — cake
10.00 ml Baking powder
10.00 ml fish spice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
fresh parsley — chopped
2.00 eggs — whisked
250.00 ml water
6.00 bread slices — crusts removed,quartered

Method:

Combine the cake flour, baking powder and fish spice in a mixing bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add a little parsley, the whisked eggs and just enough water to form a thick batter. Dip the bread quarters in the batter and fry in heated oil until brown on the outside.
Drain on paper towelling and serve with potato chips and a tomato salad.
Makes 24 bites.
