Mixed fruit brandy sauce

Ingredients

  • 250
    ml
    brandy
  • 125
    g
    white granulated sugar
  • 250
    g
    mixed dried fruit
  • 50
    g
    glacé cherries
 

Method

 
1. Dissolve sugar and brandy over a low heat. Add fruit and cook for 10 minutes. 2. Pour into sterilised glass jars, cool completely and seal. Keep in fridge once opened. Keep on topping up with brandy sugar syrup. Delicious served over sponge cake or vanilla ice cream.
