Minted lamb kebabs

    g
    boned leg of lamb, cubed
  • 4
    pita breads
  • salad ingredients of your choice
  • MARINADE
  • 250
    ml
    Greek yoghurt
  • 15
    ml
    chopped fresh mint
  • 15
    ml
    honey
  • salt and milled pepper
 

Method

 
MARINADE: Mix all ingredients together. Add lamb cubes and marinate for 20 minutes, if possible. Meanwhile, soak wooden skewers in cold water for 20 minutes. Thread meat onto skewers and place under a preheated grill, or over hot braai coals. Grill or braai for about 10 minutes, turning once and brushing occasionally with marinade. Serve with heated pita breads, and salads of your choice, for example, frisée lettuce, cherry tomatoes, green sweet peppers, cucumber and tzatziki.
