470.00 ml flour — cake
15.00 ml Baking powder
2.00 ml salt
115.00 g butter — diced
100.00 ml milk
0.00 butter — mustard
0.00 ham — sliced
0.00 Goldcrest Pure Honey — to drizzle

Method:

Preheat the oven to 230 °C and lightly oil a baking sheet.
Combine the cake flour, baking powder and salt.
Rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
Add the milk and cut in to form a dough.
Roll out on a floured surface to 3 cm thick and cut out 20 small circles.
Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until risen and golden brown.
Cut each scone in half horizontally, spread one half with mustard butter, top with a slice of ham and drizzle with a little honey.
Season with black pepper. Cover with the other half and serve.

Hint:Use tubes of commercial spread such as ham, chicken liver, green pepper or bacon instead of the sliced ham.
