    cake flour
  • 15
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 17
    ml
    baking powder
  • 7
    ml
    salt
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 45
    ml
    butter, melted
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 200 °C and lightly butter a 20 x 10 cm loaf tin.
Sift the flour, castor sugar, baking powder and salt together.
Add the milk, mixing well.
Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 to 10 minutes.
Roll the dough to a thickness of about 2 x 5 cm.
Dip the fingers in the melted butter, arrange in the tin and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until risen and done.
Serve lukewarm.
