Mince, walnut and spinach cannelloni filling

    finely chopped onion

    lean beef mince
  • 250
    g
    shredded, cooked spinach
  • 60

    chopped walnuts
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 40
    ml
    grated Parmesan
  • 3
    ml
    nutmeg
  • seasoning to taste
  • cannelloni tubes
 

Method

10-20 minutes
 
Sauté onion until soft. Add mince and cook until tender. Stir in spinach and walnuts and cool. Add beaten egg, Parmesan, nutmeg and seasoning to taste. Stuff into prepared cannelloni tubes, cover with sauce and grated cheese. Bake at 180ºC for 10 to 20 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
