Mince filling with curry

    minced beef
  • 10
    ml
    cooking oil
  • 1
    large onion, chopped
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 15
    ml
    curry powder
  • 2
    ml
    ground ginger
  • 1
    ml
    ground cinnamon
  • 1
    ml
    grated nutmeg
  • 1
    ml
    ground coriander
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • freshly ground pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Fry meat in heated cooking oil in a heavy-based saucepan until it turns colour. Add onion and garlic and sauté until onion is translucent. Add remaining ingredients and fry for 2 minutes. Allow to cool. Serve with Beer vetkoek (see recipe).
