Milk jelly

  • 500
    ml
    milk
  • 15
    ml
    gelatine powder
  • 30
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 10
    ml
    vanilla essence
 

Method

 
Heat 200 ml (4/5 cup) milk. Remove from stove, sprinkle gelatine and sugar over and stir until dissolved. Mix in vanilla essence and remaining milk. Pour into an oiled 1 litre (4 cup) mould and refrigerate until set. Serve with raspberries and cream (optional).
