Milk ice with pink peppercorns

  • 750
    ml
    long life milk
  • 100
    g
    sugar
  • 1
    vanilla pod, split in half
  • 1
    ml
    salt
  • pink peppercorns for decoration
 

Method

 
Heat milk, sugar and vanilla pod in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add salt. Cool. Place in an ice cream maker and freeze, or pack into a plastic container and freeze in the freezer, stirring occasionally. Decorate with pink peppercorns. Makes 1 litre (4 cups).
