Ingredients (10)

3.00 milk
15.00 ml butter
45.00 ml custard powder
45.00 ml cornflour
1.00 egg yolks — extra large
salt — pinch
5.00 ml caramel — essence
cinnamon — ground
200.00 g tennis biscuits
397.00 g condensed milk

Method:

Spray a 20 x 20 cm pie dish with non-stick spray. Arrange the Tennis biscuits in the pie dish to form a crust.
Mix the condensed milk, two cans of milk (use empty condensed milk can to measure) and butter, and microwave for five minutes on 100 per cent power.
Make a paste with the cornflour, custard powder and remaining can of milk. Mix with egg and salt and add to the hot milk mixture.
Microwave for another 10 minutes on 100 per cent power. Add caramel essence, mix thoroughly and pour over the Tennis biscuit crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon and allow to cool.
Makes a medium tart.
