Microwave chocolate fudge

  • 500
    g
    icing sugar
  • 397
    g
    Nestlé condensed milk
  • 125
    g
    butter
  • 45
    ml
    cocoa powder, sifted
 

Method

 
Sift icing into a large microwave-safe bowl. Pour in condensed milk, add butter and microwave on HIGH (100 %) for 2 minutes, or until butter melts. Whisk mixture well, making sure there are no lumps. Microwave on HIGH for another 10 to 12 minutes, or until mixture is a rich caramel colour. Don't let it boil over. Remove from microwave oven and stir in cocoa powder, making sure there are no lumps. Pour into a deep, 24 cm square, well-greased dish, mark into squares with a sharp knife and leave to set. Break into pieces when cooled and set.
