Ingredients (10)

15.00 ml oil
2.00 onion — chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
400.00 g beef mince — lean
410.00 g tomato purée
2.00 fresh rosemary — sprigs
100.00 ml wine — red, or beef stock
seasoning
pasta — cooked, fusilli
150.00 ml mature cheddar cheese — grated

Method:

1. Heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
2. Add mince and stir over high heat until browned.
3. Add tomato purée, rosemary, red wine or beef stock and seasoning to taste, then let the sauce simmer gently in the uncovered pot for 15 minutes.
4. Combine with cooked fusilli pasta and sprinkle with cheese.
