    turkey mince

    slices brown bread, crusts removed

    ml
    milk
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 125
    ml
    grated carrot
  • 2
    eggs, whisked
  • 10

    salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 5
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 30
    ml
    chopped parsley
  • 1
    small onion, finely chopped
  • oil for frying
 

Method

 
Combine the turkey mince, brown bread (soaked in the milk), garlic, carrot and eggs and season with salt and pepper. Halve the mixture. Add the Cheddar cheese and mustard powder to one half and parsley and onion to the other half. Shape into large balls, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and fry in oil until browned outside and cooked inside. Serve with vegetables.
