Ingredients (13)

750.00 g turkey mince
2.00 bread — crustless brown slices
125.00 ml milk
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
125.00 ml carrots — grated
2.00 eggs — whisked
10.00 ml salt
freshly ground black pepper — to taste
VARIATIONS
50.00 g cheddar cheese — grated
5.00 ml mustard — powder
30.00 ml fresh parsley — chopped
1.00 onion — small, chopped
oil — for frying

Method:

Combine the turkey mince, brown bread (soaked in the milk), garlic, carrot and eggs and season with salt and pepper. Halve the mixture.
Add the Cheddar cheese and mustard powder to one half and parsley and onion to the other half.
Shape into large balls, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and fry in oil until browned outside and cooked inside.
Serve with vegetables.
