    fresh brown breadcrumbs

    egg, beaten

    tomato purée

    microwave browning (optional)
  • TOPPING
  • 60
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 5
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 13
    ml
    brown sugar
  • MEAT FILLING
 

Method

 
Grease a 21 x 11 cm microwave oven loaf container. Mix all ingredients for meat filling in a mixing bowl. Spoon into the loaf tin and spread evenly. Mix all topping ingredients and spread over meat. Microwave for 20-22 minutes on 70 per cent power. Allow to stand for about five minutes before turning it out. Serve hot. Makes about 12-15 slices. Tested in a 600 W oven.
