Masala fish dish

    ml
    cumin seeds
  • 8
    ml
    ground cumin
  • 15
    ml
    garlic, crushed
  • 3
    ml
    salt
  • 2
    fresh chillies, chopped
  • 4
    fish fillets
  • turmeric and flour for dusting
  • oil for frying
  • tomato slices
  • lemon juice
 

Method

 
Mix spices, garlic, salt and freshly chopped chillies together. Cut slits in the fish and spoon in the spice mixture. Dust with a little ground turmeric and flour. Fry for about 2 minutes on each side. Fry slices of tomato next to the fish. Season with lemon juice and top with the fried tomatoes.
