  • 30
    ml
    gelatine
  • 250
    ml
    boiling water
  • 750
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 2
    egg whites of extra-large eggs
  • 5
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • about cookie cups
  • hundreds and thousands
 

Method

 
Sprinkle gelatine in the boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Pour into a mixing bowl along with the castor sugar, egg whites and vanilla essence. Beat well with an electric beater until pale and slightly stiff . Fill the cookie cups with the mixture and sprinkle with hundreds and thousands once it has set. Makes about 32 cookie cups.
