Marinated fresh tuna kebabs

    fresh tuna, cubed
  • 1
    English cucumber
  • MARINADE
  • 200
    ml
    natural yoghurt
  • 150
    ml
    coconut milk
  • 2
    ml
    crushed dried chilli or
  • 2
    fresh red chillies
  • 5
    ml
    chopped lemon grass
  • 2
    ml
    chopped fresh ginger
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 5
    ml
    honey
  • 30
    ml
    chopped fresh coriander
  • salt to taste
 

Method

 
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes. Wash tuna and pat dry. Slice cucumber thickly and quarter each slice. Thread tuna and cucumber alternately on the skewers. Set aside. MARINADE: Mix all ingredients and marinate tune and cucumber skewers in it for 1 to 4 hours. Preheat grill. Place skewers on rack of a roasting pan and grill for 2 to 4 minutes. Turn skewers and grill until done, 2 to 4 minutes.
