Malay chicken

Ingredients

    chicken breast fillets
  • 5
    ml
    canola or olive oil
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 410
    g
    can small white beans, drained
  • 15
    ml
    cornflour
  • 15
    ml
    curry powder
  • 15
    ml
    chutney
  • 500
    ml
    unsweetened orange juice
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • 1
    large green banana
 

Method

about 50 minutes
 
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Dice the chicken.
Heat the oil and brown the chicken and onion.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the banana.
Mix and spoon into an ovenproof dish.
Bake for 40 minutes adding the sliced banana 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
